Pistoleer.com™ Terms

• Once we receive your verified payment, we'll make every effort to process your in stock order as quick as possible. We'll try to keep our inventory complete, but out of stock (and special order or bulk) items may delay shipping. The vast majority of domestic orders are delivered within 2 to 10 business days.

• Orders are processed in batches in the order they are received. Most in stock orders go out the door within one to three business days of verified payment (often the same day) (transit time depends on shipping method and distance). Orders placed after hours (or after the carrier pickup), during the weekend, or on a holiday, are considered received the following business day. (Example: Online orders placed afternoon Friday are considered received the following Monday, or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). Allow extra time for large orders (may be drop-shipped--could add a week or more), special orders (could add a month or more), backorders (noted under item listing tables, and updated roughly every 48 hours), weather delays, orders placed over a weekend, and during the busy season. We are shooting packages out the door as fast as we can!

• Ordering and Payment

  • Mail -- Cash or Check

    This includes money orders, cashiers checks, personal or business checks, and currency (accepted, but not recommended through the mail). As per our bank's recommendation, for money orders and checks we generally wait five to seven business days after deposit before shipping an order. This delay may be waived for specific companies or individuals after several successful transactions where a trust has been established.

    Postal Money Orders made out to the owner of Pistoleer.com, Peter J. Wahle, can be cashed at the Post Office without delay, those made out to the business name, Pistoleer.com, must be deposited and go through the clearing process.

  • PLEASE DOUBLECHECK THE ACCURACY OF YOUR ORDER

    We highly recommend that you provide us with your email address so that we may send you an email confirmation or invoice --call us during business hours if you do not receive it within a business day or two period. For phone orders--it is our intent to get things correct, however you are responsible if we enter something wrong for any reason (including poor connection [cell phones, wireless phones, and Internet phones are examples], or my Chicago accent not agreeing with your accent, etc.).

    You the customer are completely responsible for the accuracy of your order as submitted--even if you do not receive a confirmation email!

    Double check that the item ID's and quantities are correct.

    Double check the delivery address (especially street address and apartment, suite, etc.)--if the package is returned to us by the carrier for any reason, we will consider the order an unauthorized return (see Return and Cancellation Policy below). For orders going by UPS (as indicated on the confirmation), then a valid complete UPS delivery address is required, otherwise a valid complete Postal address is required.

    We assume no legal obligation to adhere to additional customer terms, requests, or verifications submitted as part of an order --though we generally try to, if they are reasonable and does not cost us additional.

• Sales Tax

  • Illinois Sales Tax of 6.85% of the subtotal is required for all orders with a shipping address in Illinois. If being shipped anywhere outside of Illinois, please do not send me the tax. Tax is calculated on the subtotal only, before shipping and handling are added in. Exception is given to retailers or other tax exempt entities, given the proper Illinois Department of Revenue Certificate of Registration tax ID number.

• Shipping & Handling

  • Shipping & Handling is also called S&H or simply Shipping. The rates calculated by the Pistoleer Range Bag™ are for most US destinations and includes an averaged cost of packaging and processing orders. If it accepts your US ZIP code, then the rate should be accurate. Multiple orders received to the same destination may be consolidated to reduce S&H.

  • Packages will normally be shipped by your selected method. Occasionally it may be necessary to ship via another method (or carrier)--perhaps due to restrictions, unusual costs, or availability. Most orders ship complete from our Southern Illinois warehouse, however to expedite some orders, some or all of it may be drop-shipped (i.e., sent directly from the factory). We do not accept third party or customer shipping accounts.

  • Shipping Time

    The shipping times start when your package is in the hands of the carrier (for USPS, shipping time starts when the items are posted, which is not always the day they are picked-up by the mail carrier), counting only business days. Once your package is delivered to the carrier (or their agent), for all intents and purposes it becomes your property. It is our intent to ship your package as soon as possible, but there is no guarantee on when it will ship or the transit time--regardless of any stated need by date.

  • Invalid or Incomplete Address

    The customer is responsible for providing a valid and complete delivery address specific to the carrier selected. Orders shipped with an invalid or incomplete delivery address as provided by the customer for the carrier selected, may incur additional charges and may be returned by the carrier. Packages returned by the carrier because of an invalid or incomplete delivery address will be treated as a return, and the S&H costs incured for both directions will be subtracted from any refund due. Return shipping costs are generally the same as the origin shipping costs. Correcting an invalid address in transit is not always possible, and can incur charges of $16 or more (for UPS).

  • Signature Confirmation

    Though we do not generally ask for signature confirmation for small packages under $750 value, the carrier or your delivery person may require it.

  • Insurance and Tracking

    All packages are insured, and include tracking or delivery confirmation. Though shipping problems are rare, they can and do occasionally occur. For damaged, missing, or wrong items claims, everything must be retained, including the shipping container and all packing material. Note: Insurance coverage is either through the carrier or privately, and stops for loss when tracking or confirmation indicates a delivery. Insurance does not cover packaging, only the items within the packages. Most packages that are delayed by the carrier are eventually recovered--because of this there is a 30 day waiting period to file an insurance claim (45 days for international shipments).

  • Economy or Standard Shipping

    The choice of shipping method is ours, and requires an address that is valid for both Postal and UPS/FedEx. The address provided must be valid for the shipping methed we choose. No PO BOX addresses.

  • USPS Ground Advantage

    Formally called First Class Parcel or Parcel Post. Approximately 1 week service to most domestic destinations, but could take two weeks or more to destinations such as AK, HI, PR.

  • Media Mail

    Limited to specific media, may be packaged in a large padded or unpadded envelope. Approximately 1 or 2 week service to most domestic destinations. Due to the slow and unpredictable transit time, we do not recommend this method.

  • Priority Mail

    2 or 3 day service to most domestic destinations. (Note: shipping time starts when the items are posted, which is not always the day they are picked-up by the mail carrier)

  • Express Mail

    Fastest service, with next business day delivery by 12 noon or 3 p.m. to most destinations (2 business days otherwise). Sundays and federal holidays included for some destinations. There is an additional charge of $5.00 for rush processing. (Note: shipping time starts when the items are posted, which is not always the day they are picked-up by the mail carrier)

  • UPS/FedEx Ground

    UPS or FedEx ground, approximately 1 to 5 day service to most domestic destinations (click for UPS ground map from Southern Illinois). UPS/FedEx cannot deliver to a PO Box. The customer does NOT get to choose between UPS or FedEx.

  • Damaged, Missing, or Wrong Items

    Problems with the carriers are rare, and errors on our end are even rarer, but regretfully do occasionally occur. The customer must open and inspect all orders upon receipt for damaged, missing, or wrong items--check the packing material carefully for items. This includes, but is not limited to, opening and inspecting all individual items packaged within the shipping box. Any problems with the order must be reported immediately by email or phone--everything must be retained, including the shipping container and all packing material. We reserve the right to substantiate or refute a claim of missing or wrong items based on our recorded weights and dimensions of your package and our inventory counts for the items in the order. The customer may be required to return damaged or wrong items (if requested, including the original shipping container and packing material)--if it is our error and at our request we will refund the return shipping (cheapest shipping method available). At our discretion, errors on our part will be refunded (prorated for specific items) or reshipped (specific items by cheapest shipping method). After the earlier of one week from the delivery date, or two weeks from the ship date, the order is considered complete and acceptable and the customer waives any further right to make a claim. Pistoleer.com cannot reimburse (nor reship) orders that were misdelivered by the carrier or stolen from a property, thank you for understanding!

• Return and Cancellation Policy

  • With the exceptions below, you have 30 calendar days from the day your package is shipped to look over your order. If not delighted, send the undesired items back in new unused condition (including original undamaged packaging, and all enclosed parts and instructions) for a refund of the returned items. For all intents and purposes, the package remains your property until entered back into inventory.
  • Original S&H is not refundable. All return expenses are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Returns must be properly packed and insured and are not refundable if damaged or lost in transit.
  • Unless otherwise noted, normally stocked items and quantities will NOT incur a restocking fee when returned in new unused condition (including original undamaged packaging, and all enclosed parts and instructions) and within the allowed time.
    • Special order or bulk orders will incur a restocking fee of the larger of 25% of the purchase price or our total cost for the order (some may not be returnable at all)--email or call for details specific to your order.
    • Free ship items that are returned will incure a restocking fee of the higher of actual S&H costs or 20%.
      • This includes mixed orders shipped under the Economy shipping option (ECO), where free ship items are mixed in with non-free ship items.
        • Free ship items are typically marked [FS], or is otherwise noted on the website.
  • Canceled orders that have been initiated are also subject to actual charges incurred.
    • Canceled special or bulk orders that have been initiated will incur a restocking fee of the larger of 25% of the purchase price or our total cost for the order (some may not be cancelable or returnable at all)--email or call for details specific to your order.
  • For obvious reasons, videos, books, and guides are not returnable.
  • Chemicals (lubricants, cleaners, etc.) are not returnable.
  • Shrink wrapped or sealed packages (such as glasses or ear plugs) are not returnable if the package has been damaged or opened.
  • Yukon, Landmark Outdoors, Firefield, Sightmark, and all of the Sellmark Brands have a one week return limit, will incur a 15% restocking fee, and require a return authorization number before being returned back to the warehouse they were shipped from. Refund will be issued after the shipping warehouse has evaluated the return, minus the restocking fee and any other expenses that may have occurred (if any, such as excess shipping or handling, missing or damaged parts, repackaging, etc.).
  • Items with warranty issues must be resolved under the terms of the warranty with the manufacturer--do NOT return to The Pistoleer.
  • Additional S&H will be due from the customer for exchanges, or for the reshipment back to the customer of improper returns--typically this amount will be the same as the original S&H, or larger if additional S&H expenses are incurred.
  • Returns from orders that have been discounted or included free or discounted items based on purchase levels or other conditions will have the original order reevaluated without the returned items--should the conditions no longer be met then the discount or retail value of the free items not returned will be subtracted from any refund due.
  • Returns and exchanges outside of these terms are entirely at the discretion of The Pistoleer, and may incur a 50% or greater restocking fee plus all expenses.

• "FREE Shipping" or "Shipping Included" or "Reduced Shipping"

  • Occasionally, specials will be offered for select items that include "FREE Shipping" or reduced shipping.
  • Unless stated otherwise, these offers are limited to delivery within the contiguous 48 states
    • The choice of shipping method is ours, and may require both a valid UPS/FedEx deliverable physical address and a valid Postal address.
  • Other, non-"FREE Shipping" items added to an order will be charged as if shipped separately, and may be shipped together or separately.
  • If a "FREE Shipping" or "Reduced Shipping" item is returned, the larger of 20% or actual costs of S&H (both directions, if applicable) will be subtracted from any refund due.
  • Bulk, volume, and other discounts do not apply to items with free shipping.

• Manufacturer Warranty

  • WE ARE NOT A WARRANTY STATION FOR ANY COMPANY; THEREFORE, WE DO NOT ACCEPT WARRANTY REPAIRS. All manufacturer warranties are handled directly by the respective manufacturer--do not send anything to The Pistoleer. Contact information for the manufacturer can normally be found on the packaging. Some products may require registration with the manufacturer--see product packaging and documentation for details. The customer is responsible for the shipping to the manufacturer or their rep for items under warranty. Batteries have no warranty.

• Competitive Pricing

  • I strive to have competitive web pricing for the lines we carry. When comparing prices, please note the following:

    • The Pistoleer offers a variety of shipping methods, including First Class Mail!
      • If you only need a simple little bore brush, we can do it.
    • The Pistoleer does not have a minimum order requirement for non-bulk purchases!
      • Need a small package of patches, no problem.
    • The Pistoleer does not have any membership requirements!
      • We are all on the same team.
    • The Pistoleer does consider bulk requests!

• Targets

  • To save you shipping costs, some orders containing any of the larger targets may be rolled in a shipping tube or box.
  • Large orders of the larger targets will be shipped flat if possible, or bulk folded so as to minimize creases.
  • Samplers contain one or more each of most or all targets in a given group, up to the total number given in the description,
    • Unless otherwise indicated, samplers may exclude new, pasters, PreGame, sheets, splattering, rolls, and items that are not targets,
    • Exact contents can vary without notice--backorders of any component may be excluded or substituted with another target,
    • Some targets in a sampler may be folded flat to facilitate packing.
  • Some large target orders may be drop-shipped, regardless of shipping method selected.
  • E-mail me if you have any questions or concerns, or want to specify specific packaging (additional charges may apply).
  • Sheet size may vary, but the printed part is specified by standards; if you require a specific sheet size, contact us before ordering.
    • Dimensions given on the website are nominal sizes.
  • Color targets are printed on the same paper and use the official printing plates, but are not considered Official NRA. Targets that have no official equivalent are not official (NRA or otherwise).

• Speedloaders

  • If your revolver is not listed, the speedloader may not fit--check with the gun manufacturer.
    • Listed applications are the extent of what has been tested or reported by other customers as working--if your gun is not listed we have no further information.
    • Applications shown in (parenthesis) are those added by other customers--we have not tested them, we do not guarantee that they will work, but they are returnable.
    • If the cylinder dimensions are the same as a listed revolver, then they might use the same speedloader.
  • Whether your gun is listed or not, with the cylinder fully open there must be a straight path for all rounds to load simultaneously, plus a small allowance for the thickness of the side of the speedloader.
    • If your revolver's grip or cylinder release is in the way of the speedloader, the grip or cylinder release may need to be replaced or modified.
  • Make sure the round count of your cylinder matches that of the speedloader.
  • If the gun manufacturer has changed the gun in recent years, or it is a newer model, it is possible the listed speedloader for that gun may not work--check with the gun manufacturer.
  • Your are welcome to try our speedloaders for fit amd finish.
    • As per our return policy, if you don't like the fit, you may return it, S&H is not refundable.

• Bulk / Wholesale pricing

  • Pistoleer.com is an authorized stocking distributor for the product lines. Bulk discounts for most of the product lines are available to everyone (see the individual product lines for details).
  • We only collect sales tax for Illinois. For Illinois tax exemption you must be a qualified retailer of firearms or firearms accessories, and a copy of your current state retail tax certificate and FFL must be on file. You must specify your tax exempt status with each order.
  • Bulk / Wholesale pricing may not be combined with sales or other discounts, and do not apply to quotes which have already been discounted.

• Limited Availability, Discontinued, or Clearance Items

  • These are items we are not expecting to restock
  • If you order more than we have in stock, we will reduce your order to what is available
  • Clearance Items are those that we or the manufacturer have discontinued, have too much of, is old stock that may be past their best if used by date, or we simply want to try other similar items from the manufacturer. Some are marked below our costs--our loss is your gain. Clearance items are limited to original stock on hand, no additional discounts apply, are as is with no warranty, and for aerosols and chemicals are not returnable.

• Images/Drawings/Descriptions

  • The images and drawings on the web site are intended to only give a rough idea of what a product looks like, and may show items not included to demonstrate the product. Some are actual images, some are drawings, some are modified images, and some may be old. Colors may vary on different screens. Most target backgrounds are the NRA standard buff color (even though some are pictured as white). They may not be exact, so use them only as a guideline. Call or email if you have specific needs, and we can check the current stock for you.
  • The manufacturers may change their products, descriptions, or packaging at any time, so it is possible that an item can vary from the posted description or picture. Normally changes are improvements, if you disagree send the item back (see the return policy above).
  • A.K.A. (Also Known As): Some item listings contain an A.K.A. column; this is for reference only and represents names used by other vendors for the same or similar item, or represents a common grouping--these are not The Pistoleer's Item ID's.
  • Speedloader/Magloader listings: If the gun manufacturer has changed the gun (or magazine) in recent years, or it is a newer model, it is possible the listed speedloader (or magloader) for that gun may not work--check with the gun manufacturer. Pricing is per piece--speedloaders, blocks, mounts, and cases sold separately--ammo not included.

• Disclaimer

  • It is the responsibility of the buyer and not Pistoleer.com, to ascertain and obey all applicable laws in regard to the possession and use of our products. Regulations listed on the website may not be totally accurate or complete and Pistoleer.com accepts no responsibility for its accuracy or completeness. If you are unsure, please contact your local or state authorities. Furthermore, by placing an order with us, the buyer represents that all products purchased will be used in a lawful manner and that he/she is of legal age. We are not responsible for the use or inability to use any of the products listed in this Web site, or the suitability of use for any particular task or any claims stated about how these products function or work on this Web site, nor are we responsible for any damages caused by the misuse of our products or physical harm caused by our products to anyone. This responsibility is totally on the buyer. • Mistakes

  • Though we try to keep the site up-to-date and error free, mistakes are possible. If you find a mistake, please e-mail The Pistoleer so that it can be corrected. We will not be obligated to honor any mistakes. The Pistoleer (Peter J. Wahle) has the final say on the interpretation of anything in these terms or on any part of the website.

• Enforceability of Terms

  • Except as otherwise provided in these terms, if any provision of these terms is held to be invalid, void or for any reason unenforceable, such provision shall be struck out and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
  • Headings are for reference purposes only and do not limit the scope or extent of such Section.
  • Our failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others does not waive our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.
    • We do not guarantee we will take action against all breaches of these terms.

• Limit of Liability

  • In all circumstances Pistoleer.com maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the products sold for the transaction in question. Pistoleer.com shall not, under any circumstances, be liable upon a claim or action in contract, tort, indemnity or contribution, or other claims relating to the products it sells which exceeds this liability limit. Pistoleer.com shall not be liable for third party claims for damages against the customer, or for malfunctions, delays, interruption of service, loss of business, loss or damage to exemplary damages, whether or not Pistoleer.com is apprised of the possibility of such claims or damages.
